Essential Care Training is an Independent Training Organisation in the Yorkshire Region which recognises the importance of raising the standards of care provided in Nursing and Residential Care Homes and Domiciliary Care Settings.

Essential Care Training ensures improvements of the standards and quality of care, by delivering bespoke training to Qualified Nurses and Healthcare Professionals, so they are trained and equipped to meet the Essential Standards of Quality and Safety for people in their care settings.

Our training programmes are structured to be affordable and will inform and update your staff on current best practice in accordance, where appropriate, with the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) and the Essential Standards of the Care Quality Commission (CQC)

Training is delivered by experienced Qualified Senior Nursing Staff and Senior Health Care Managers who have been specifically selected to deliver our courses because of their relevant backgrounds as well as having hands on practical experience and knowledge gained within our local Social Care Sector.

At Essential Care Training we understand the increasing demands placed on Healthcare Professional Staff working in Care Homes and Domiciliary Care settings to continually update their practices and clinical knowledge.

In particular there is a great expectation from all manner of External Agencies, such as – GP Practices, CQC Inspectorate, Community Health Professionals, Social Services Contract Compliance Managers, Health and Safety Executive, Environmental Health, Safeguarding Teams, - that they should meet and deliver specified standards of care and all to often in subjects in which they have received little or no formal training.
